We welcome outreach from founders, institutional investors, and anyone interested in European deep tech. We read every message we receive.
If you are a European deep tech founder raising a seed round, we want to hear from you. Please include a brief description of your company, your technology, and the problem you are solving. We aim to respond to all founder inquiries within five business days.
We are selectively open to institutional LP relationships. If you represent a family office, endowment, or institutional fund interested in European deep tech venture exposure, please reach out to discuss our current and future fund opportunities.
We invest exclusively at the seed stage. We typically lead or co-lead rounds of $1.5M to $6M. We do not invest at pre-seed or Series A and beyond, though we may participate in follow-on rounds for our existing portfolio companies.
We invest in deep tech: artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, quantum computing, biotechnology, advanced materials science, and climate technology. We do not invest in consumer apps, social media, or software without a meaningful scientific or engineering component.
Yes, in most cases we lead or co-lead seed rounds. We prefer to have a meaningful ownership stake in the companies we back and to take an active role as a board member or board observer.
We aim to give founders clear decisions quickly. For companies we are excited about, we can move from first meeting to term sheet in four to six weeks. We respect founders' time and do not string along companies with endless process.
Our focus is European deep tech. We invest in companies headquartered in Europe or founded by European researchers. We may occasionally invest in European-founded companies that have relocated, on a case-by-case basis.
Absolutely. We read every message we receive and respond to all founder inquiries within five business days. A warm introduction is helpful but never required. Good ideas speak for themselves.
